About the Birmingham Free Clinic
We will donate all pledges to the Birmingham Free Clinic. The Birmingham Free Clinic--located on Pittsburgh’s Southside--provides free health care to uninsured Latinos. All of the physicians and pharmacists providing health care  donate their time each Saturday to attend to the medical needs of uninsured  Latino adults and children who have immigrated to the Pittsburgh area.
The Birmingham Free Clinic was founded and is operated by The Program for Health Care to Underserved Populations who collaborate with SALUD  (Students, residents, faculty And Latinos United against health Disparities)  and SALUD Para Ninos, “Health for the Children.” The clinic is located  in facilities donated by the Salvation Army.
The Post-Gazette ran a recent story about the clinic that can be accessed here.
